According to AS, Barcelona and Girona are poised to enter into extensive negotiations over the futures of three players.

The Blaugrana want to talk with their fellow La Liga club over the possibility of re-signing young striker Pau Victor this summer.

The Spaniard has returned to Girona after spending the 2023/24 season on loan at Barca. The Blaugrana had a chance to sign him permanently for €3m, but failed to do so.

After Marc Guiu’s move to Chelsea, Barcelona are short in striker options. As a result, they want to speak to Girona about another loan move for Victor.

Meanwhile, Girona are themselves are interested in potentially signing two players from the Blaugrana ahead of next season.

They are interested in bringing back defender Eric Garcia on loan. But with Hansi Flick reportedly interested in using the centre-back, that deal might be a bit complicated.

Girona boss Michel has also expressed an interest in signing Oriol Romeu. Barca could be open to selling him after the defensive midfielder failed to impress last season.

Barcelona could be involved in multiple transfer deals with their fellow La Liga side and will hope to get the business done before the 2024/25 La Liga season begins.
