Former Nigerian international Peter Ijeh believes Victor Osimhen's move away from Napoli has stalled due to his character and attitude.

Despite his hefty release clause, Ijeh thinks Osimhen's behavior could be the real reason his suitors are hesitant.

Osimhen has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United rumored as potential destinations.

Paris Saint-Germain also showed interest, but none have made a concrete offer.

Peter Ijeh, who played for Malmo FF and Copenhagen and won five caps with the Super Eagles, believes Osimhen's attitude is the issue.

"I wish he understood that Europe is a small community that values attitude and character," the 47-year-old said, responding to Osimhen's social media outburst against Finidi George.

"It's a community where everybody knows everybody, and attitude is key."

In a new development, Napoli has reduced Victor Osimhen's release clause to £85 million to facilitate his transfer.

The club is reportedly willing to offer him to Manchester United in a swap deal involving Mason Greenwood, with a cash component also included. However, it remains uncertain whether this proposal will come to fruition.
