CHIRP (CROSS PLATFORM HAM RADIO PROGRAMMING) is a free, open-source tool for programming amateur radios. Below is a list of commonly used frequencies for different bands in the UK.

These frequencies are for various purposes including repeaters, simplex channels, and calling frequencies.

2 Meter Band (VHF, 144-146 MHz)

  • 144.000 MHz to 144.150 MHz: CW (Morse code)
  • 144.150 MHz to 144.500 MHz: SSB (Single Side Band)
  • 144.500 MHz to 144.600 MHz: Beacons
