ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - More than six months after a 20-year-old woman from Alpharetta was found dead in Tennessee, three people face charges related to her death, according to Cobb County police.

The suspects are accused of concealing a death. Two were already in custody for unrelated charges, while the other was taken into custody in another jurisdiction, police said.

Maury-Ange Faith Martinez was reported missing in August 2023. Police said her last known location was near Powers Ferry Road, which she went to after leaving the county jail.

On Jan. 5, Martinez’ remains were found in rural Hamilton County, Tennessee near Chattanooga.

Police said they will soon release more information about the suspects.
