This Morning star Michelle Elman worked hard to keep her ex-fiancé's identity a secret for a long time before she finally showed his face in a photo that would soon blow up her relationship.
The life coach and author excitedly revealed her engagement to her followers on April 14 but their engagement was swiftly cut short when she discovered he had cheated on her. Before sharing his identity online, she spent years only ever posting pictures of the back of him and made sure to never name him or tag him.
When she got engaged, she took to her social media page to share a selfie where she held up her ring finger as she happily posed next to him. She captioned the post: "I told you I would never post my boyfriend... MEET MY FIANCE." Her happiness was short-lived as the first-ever picture she shared of him immediately made her entire relationship disintegrate.
During the short time the photo was online, one of her female followers contacted her to let her know that her fiancé was cheating on her with them. A heartbroken Michelle later returned to social media to share a devastating update about the end of her relationship.
It wasn't long before the photo, which was shared on MailOnline, was deleted. Speaking to her followers, the devastated star said: "All l this f*****g sucks, I was engaged for 24 hours. I don't know how to make this video so I'm just going to get into it. The last you heard from me I was engaged and I'm not anymore.
"The day I posted that engagement photo is the day I found out he had been cheating on me and one of the women he was cheating on me with actually followed me and that's how I found out. She's a lovely woman, and she didn't know, and you've got to love his taste in women. You've got to laugh. We're laughing and crying a lot over here."
This week, she appeared on This Morning and discussed what happened with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard. The author explained: "He was with me when I got the first message saying, 'Is this person your fiance?' I thought it was a colleague like this person who knows you, and it took a while to figure out, my first reaction was shock.
"I was shaking and I kept saying please tell me first I don't want to find out from her. Then it was screenshots of the dating profile and his number, I believed her from the get-go, but I needed evidence.
"She told me the hotel, and I said put that in your email, and it came up, and then he admitted it. This was meant to be the best weekend of my life. I went to be with my sister for a week, I had a competition to see who could cry the loudest with my two-year-old niece. I won. I don't want his identity to come out, it's not a story about him it's a story about me and women who have been cheated on."
