Specialty Food Association Announces New Directors for 2024/25 Term

The not-for-profit Specialty Food Association (SFA) has welcomed four new directors to its governing board for the 2024/25 term. The new Board of Directors and Officers were announced at SFA's Annual Member Meeting, where the Association's members voted on and approved the appointments.

New Directors for 2024/25 Term:

- Elizabeth Hemphill-Burns from BrainJuice
- Loralie Holly from Texas Tamale Co./Brazos Legends
- Sarah Masoni (re-elected) from Oregon State University Food Innovation Center
- James Ren from Thrive Market
- Rodd Willis from Dot Foods, Inc.

Each of these Directors will serve a three-year term through June 2027.

SFA's Sr. Vice President, Member Development, Phil Robinson commented, "Each year, SFA members shape the future of the Association by voting on the slate of Board members. We are grateful to all the volunteer leaders who will guide SFA's strategic plan and steer the organization towards continued success. The diversity of our Board reflects the dynamic specialty food industry that we serve."

- Vice Chair: Pierre Abushacra from Firehook Bakery
- Treasurer: Dwight Richmond from Town & Country Markets
- Secretary: Sarah Wallace from The Good Bean
- Immediate Past Chair: Jon Pruden from TASTE Family of Businesses
