Following a successful reading in Abuja, acclaimed author Niran Adedokun, is set to grace Lagos with a book signing and reading event for his latest release, Ethnicity Eats, Corruption Feasts: A Columnist’s Insights on Nigeria. The event will take place on Saturday, 20 July 2024, at Rovingheights Bookstore, located at Retail Boulevard, Landmark Event Centre, Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island.

Fans of the writer and literary enthusiasts are invited to join him at 2pm for an engaging session where he will delve into the themes of his new book, which critically examines the interplay between ethnicity and politics in Nigeria and the pervasive corruption affecting the nation. Ethnicity Eats, Corruption Feasts: A Columnist’s Insights on Nigeria is Adedokun’s second collection of essays following the 2020 release of Danfo Driver in All of Us. In this thought-provoking book, the author dissects the complex web of challenges that have long plagued Nigeria. He explores the intricate relationship between ethnicity and politics, and how this dynamic has influenced the country’s socio-economic landscape. The essays unravel the layers of corruption that have infiltrated every aspect of Nigerian society and the devastating consequences they inflict on the country.
