Maxwell Opara, a lawyer, has spoken about President Tinubu and his connection to the Igbos

In a video shared by AIT, Opara alleged that Tinubu’s wife, whose mother is from Delta State, has Igbo roots. He said many people expect that Tinubu who is a democrat and has close ties to Igbos will be supportive of the Igbo people. He also said people hope that Tinubu will treat Igbos better than former President Buhari did.

Opara said Tinubu’s connection to the Igbo community through his wife should translate into better support and representation for Igbos in the country.
