Mop-Up Exercise Details

The Vice-Chancellor of LASU, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has approved a one-week mop-up exercise to conclude the LASU Indigeneship Verification Exercise.

This mop-up will take place from Monday, 26th August to Friday, 30th August 2024 at the LASU main campus in Ojo, Lagos.

Eligibility and Registration

Candidates eligible for this exercise must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be of Lagos State origin.
  • Must have chosen LASU as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
  • Must have scored a minimum of 195 in the UTME.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to make payment through the LASU IIVC Portal.

Interview Venues

The interview for the LASU Indigeneship Verification Exercise will be conducted at the following venues:

  • Ikeja Division: Sociology Classroom, opposite University Health Centre.
  • Badagry Division: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Education.
  • Ikorodu Division: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law.
  • Lagos Division: International Business Class, MBA Building.
  • Epe Division: School of Transport.

Important Information

  • Candidates of Lagos State origin from the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 sessions who were not offered admission must revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates online at the LASU Website.
  • Direct Entry candidates of Lagos State origin must also participate in this exercise to be considered for admission.

Candidates should note that payments must be made only through the specified LASU account.

Any payments made to individuals or through other means are at the candidate’s own risk.

Key Notes

  • This verification exercise does not guarantee admission into LASU.
  • Only candidates of Lagos State origin are eligible and must be cleared by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC).
  • There will be no further screening exercises after the mop-up is completed.
