The three Manchester United players at the 2024 Copa America know who they'll be facing in the quarter-finals, after the group stage concluded on Tuesday evening.

It's been a perfect tournament so far for Lisandro Martinez and Alejandro Garnacho in the United States, as Argentina won all three of their matches in Group A. The world champions, and holders of the South American title, scored five goals in matches against Canada, Chile and Peru, with their net remaining unbreached in that time.

Martinez played the full 90 minutes during Argentina's first two fixtures, before being rested for the clash with the Peruvians, in which Garnacho started before being substituted on 66 minutes.

They will now take on the runners-up of Group B, Ecuador, in the last eight, with that tie taking place in Houston on Friday 5 July at 02:00 BST.

La Tri finished second, on four points, behind runaway winners Venezuela, who face Canada in the other quarter-final in this half of the draw.

Uruguay have been impressive so far under the management of Marcelo Bielsa, and Facundo Pellistri made it on to the scoresheet in the 5-0 thrashing of Bolivia - one of nine goals La Celeste registered while dominating Group C.

Pellistri, playing in his second major tournament, has been named in all three starting XIs by Bielsa so far, as Panama were also put to the sword, before a narrow 1-0 victory over USA eliminated the hosts from contention.

The 2011 winners are aiming to win the tournament for a record 16th time and, in order to do so, they will have to get past Brazil in the early hours of Sunday morning (UK time), at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Selecao could only manage a 1-1 draw with table-topping Colombia in their final Group D fixture, with key attacker Vinicius Junior picking up a yellow card that will rule him out of the next game.

Brazil ended the group stage on five points, while Colombia finished on seven, meaning they play Panama in the last eight.

The winners of both ties will meet in the second semi-final, meaning there is still the possibility of an all-Reds final, if Argentina and Uruguay continue to progress to Miami during the early hours of Monday 15 July.
