Throughout his career John Cena, has worked against various wrestlers, from iconic figures to talent fans have long forgotten. Some have been hyped up, and others had to earn their stripes, which Cena believes a certain underrated talent did.

John Cena Names WWE's Most Underrated Wrestlers Ever

One person that Cena got to work against a lot throughout his career is The Miz. He often divided fans, particularly earlier in his career, but has worked his way to becoming an established main event-proven talent.

The Miz is a two-time WWE Champion, but he had to scratch and claw his way to that point after being judged at the start of his run, even getting bullied out of the locker room. Nobody has seen that work closer than Cena, who competed against Miz in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 27.

During a teaser trailer for the upcoming A&E Biography WWE Legends: The Miz, Cena gave the A-Lister some heavy praise.

"He's the most, not one of the most, the most underrated WWE Superstar in the history of the business."

Cena competed against Miz regularly during his full-time run with the company, particularly during Miz's biggest push. When The Miz initially became WWE Champion, it was Cena he feuded against, and the two men then competed again at WWE WrestleMania 33 in mixed tag team action.

The Miz Worked His Way To The Top

At this stage in his career, The Miz is a bonafide future WWE Hall Of Famer and someone who has done everything there is to do in the industry at the highest level. Consistently proving himself inside the ring and on the microphone, he's put together a career any wrestler would be proud of.

But he's certainly had to prove the doubters wrong during his time in WWE, and that's evidently something Cena respects. Miz himself is aware of that situation, as he wrote about the overwhelmingly loud population of peers and public who didn't think he belonged. However, his career has certainly come full circle from that point.

The Miz admitted that to have been acknowledged by A&E as a legend and to have the support of his peers made the journey worth it. But considering he's still working at the top of his game, there's likely a lot more to come from this iconic career.
