MODE OF ADMISSION

The Pre-degree programme is designed to run for two semesters (one academic session). Mode of study is classroom face to face lectures at University of Jos.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for admission into the Pre-degree Programme are expected to have a minimum of five ‘O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant Science subjects in SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC and NECO or any other equivalent certificates.

Applicants for Basic Medicine are expected to have the required five ‘O’ Level Credits in one sitting. Accepted candidates must enroll and write the 2024/2025 JAMB/UTME with relevant subjects’ combination to any programme.

Application forms are available online on the University Website: http://portal.unijos.edu.ng upon payment of the sum of fifteen thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) only through Remita.

Step 1: Account Creation and Activation

• Visit unijos.edu.ng
• Click Programme Menu and select Remedial Sciences
• Fill in the online account creation form (Ensure to provide functional email and phone number)
• Click on Register when completed to submit (An activation link will be sent to the email provided. Login to the email and click on the link to activate your account and proceed with the registration)

Step 2: Payment for the Application Form

• Visit unijos.edu.ng
• Click on LOGIN
• Enter your email and password and then click Log In (You will be logged in to your personalized dashboard)
• Click on Application Charge and then on Pay Application Charges. (A window containing payment details will be displayed.)
• Click SELECT PAYMENT
• Select your preferred payment option (Bank Branch, Card, etc.) and provide the details required
• Follow the prompt through until payment is successful.
• Print the receipt upon successful payment. Also print the other copy of the receipt sent to your mail.

Step 3: Personal Information Registration

• Click on LOGIN
