Officers investigating a report of indecent exposure in Benfleet on Tuesday July 2 are appealing for two potential witnesses to get in touch.

Police were called to London Road at just after 1.15pm.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has been released under investigation and has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
