MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new wildfire in Mariposa County has prompted evacuation orders.

The Granite Fire is burning on Highway 132 near Narcisco Way and Piney Creek.

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office has evacuation orders for the following:

Highway 132 and Piney Creek areas including Piney Creek to Stoney Oak Rd

Granite Springs Rd from Highway 132 to Creekside

A temporary evacuation point has been set up at Lake Don Pedro Elementary.

Highway 132 is closed in both directions from Arbolada Rd to Maravilla.
