Rivers:Princewill, In 2027, I Will Help Fubara To Continue Because He's Doing What Needs To Be Done
Tonye Princewill, a politician, film producer, and philanthropist who ran for governor of Rivers State in 2007 under the Action Congress and again in 2015 under the Labour Party, talked about the state’s continuous political unrest in a recent statement to Vanguard. Princewill parted ways with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in protest against the party’s decision to endorse a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.

As a close associate of former Transportation Minister Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Princewill wielded significant influence within the APC in Rivers State.

In a recent interview, Princewill critiqued certain policies of the current administration and suggested that President Tinubu may need to reconsider his strategies if he intends to seek reelection.

He emphasized his commitment to remain engaged in politics. Reflecting on his past involvement in Rivers State politics and his support for Amaechi in 2007, he expressed his hope to support Sim in 2027 if he continues to demonstrate effective leadership.

During an interview with The Vanguard, He remarked, “Certainly I will be involved. What I don’t know is in what capacity. The politics I see is no longer interesting. But we will continue our work and hope enough people join us to ask for things to improve. Just as in 2007, I helped Amaechi to continue because he was doing what needs to be done, my prayer is in 2027, I will help Sim continue because he is doing what needs to be done too.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
