Former head coach of the Russian national team and Chelsea, Guus Hiddink, admitted that he was very hurt by the results of the Blues after the sale of the club.

“I feel very strongly for the former teams, but now I really feel for Chelsea without Mr Abramovich. It’s incredible what happened to the club. It’s unacceptable for a team made by Roman Abramovich to be treated this way.”

“I don’t know who the key Chelsea players are today. I just don’t see such players on the team. Without strong football players, the fundamentals are very difficult. It is impossible to analyze Chelsea today. There are a lot of footballers there for whom I am ashamed.”

“They spent a lot of money, a lot of money, and now they have problems on the field, problems off the field, problems everywhere. What it is? This is not good, this cannot continue. Ultimately, this will lead to Chelsea becoming uninteresting; Chelsea will soon be forgotten, and this is unacceptable! This needs to be stopped.”
