Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 2 is right around the corner, with viewers ready to see how much heat this season will bring to the Great White North. Ra'Jah O'Hara won Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 1 with Silky Nutmeg Ganache finishing in the runners-up position. Ra'Jah earnedthe Queen of The Mother-Pucking World title and took home a $100,000 cash prize. Countries featured in the first season included the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Canada.
Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 2 cast is stacked with legends and some fan favorites ready to serve drama. One guest who knows how to bring camp is the former star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna, who will be a judge. Lisa isn't the only celebrity headed to the judges' table this season. Returning resident jurists Traci Melchor, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Brad Goreski are also judging Drag Race: Canada Vs. RuPaul's Drag Race international spin-off, Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 2 is back this July. It features nine cast members from Canada, the US, and French versions of the show. The series was officially renewed for a second season in June 2023. WOW Presents released the first official trailer on July 2, showing viewers what to expect once Canada Vs. The World premieres.
Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World Season 2 will premiere on July 19, 2024. The international audience can watch it on WOW Presents, Crave for Canadian viewers, and BBC Three for those in the UK. Once again, the contestants will have an opportunity to show their friendly side and how they'll take the cash prize home. The season will also include the Golden Beaver, where the top queens will save one of the bottom-placed queens from getting eliminated from the competition.
The series will have nine divas from different editions of the Drag Race franchise competing to become the Queen of the Mother-Pucking World. The stars include two UK fan favorites, three Canadian legends, one French contestant, and three alumni from the OG American series. Interestingly, two of the cast members on Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 2 has already been a part of the competition.
The cast includes Canada's Drag Race alums Lemon, Miss Fiercalicious, and Tynomi Banks, RuPaul's Drag Race season 3, All Stars 1 and All Stars 5 participants Alexis Mateo. The fabulous Kennedy Davenport from RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 is also on the show. It also features Cheryl Hole from Drag Race UK. Cheryl was in the UK vs The World season 1 drama. Previously, Cheryl hosted two podcasts, Killers, Cults, and Queens, where they talked about some of the paranormal and craziest crime stories from across the globe. She also presented Girl Gossip Group, discussing the iconic girl bands, both present and past.
In addition, Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 2 Cast will include Eureka O'Hara from RuPaul's Drag Race seasons 9 and 10 and All Stars 6. Le Fil, featured in Drag Race UK season 4, will also try to get the crown this time. La Kahena, a Tunisian-born French participant from Drag Race France season 1, will also compete for the title. She made history as the first competitor of Tunisian origin to enter the Drag Race franchise.
Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World Season 2 trailer dropped on July 2, showing divas from France, the USA, Canada, and the UK battling it out to win the crown. The trailer showed some legendary guests as judges at the judging table, including musicians Charlotte Cardin and Alessia Cara, activist Sarain Fox, fashion designer Kirk Pickersgill, and Hollywood Jade, a frequent choreographer on the show. Notably, Samantha Bee, a well-renowned Canadian comedian and writer, will also be part of the production this season.
Lisa, a RHOBH alum, will be part of some of the challenges on the show. In the trailer, Lisa asked jokingly, "What am I doing here?"(via WOWPresents) That's not the only surprise this season, Canada's Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World season 1 winner, Ra'Jah, will be on at least one episode. Miss Fiercalicious also hit the runway in the preview in an incredible look and appeared pregnant, leaving the judges gasping. Therefore, it will be a pretty exciting season, and it's just a matter of time before Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World judges announce the winner.
