The midfielder played in the Chelsea academy before opting to depart when there was no clear first team opportunities.

Musiala insisted on leaving Chelsea despite the club doing everything to tie him to the club on a professional contract.

Jamal Musiala has impressed massively since leaving Chelsea for Bayern in 2019. Bayern promised him a clear run to the first team and have been rewarded for their faith.

Musiala played a while in Bayern’s youth teams before making his big Bundesliga splash later that year.

Musiala became a more prominent figure for Bayern the following year, appearing 32 times and while 11 of those. He scored seven times that season but has grown to be a world class player in recent seasons.

If Chelsea want midfield genius better than Odegaard, the will have to pay up to lure him to the club.

Musiala has become a key component of Bayern’s attack and is considered to be untouchable in transfer terms.

Musiala has delivered yet again despite Bayern enduring a below par season. The German giants have been thwarted this season in the Bundesliga by Bayer Leverkusen.

They have also been knocked out of all cup competitions they were involved in, except the champion’s league.

Musiala has still managed to score 12 and assist 7, which is down from 15G and 12A last season in all competitions.

Musiala is not available for a transfer for any known fee and it will take a mammoth fee to prise him away from Germany.
