Zamfara NSCDC commences training of 50 private guards company staff

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara state command, has commenced refresher training of 50 private guards company staff in the state.

The state commandant of the corps, Sani Mustafa, while declaring the training open at annex office of the command in Gusau Tuesday stated that the duration of the training is two weeks.

He said the essence of the training of private guards companies by the command is to ensure discipline, sincerity and information sharing to the corps and other security agencies in order to improve security in the state.

Commandant Mustafa stated that about 38 license private guards companies are currently operating in the state.

He further stated that after undergoing the training, they will be given some hotline phone numbers for the command for urgent response when the need arises.

“The NSCDC under my watch will remain committed to work hand-in-hand with all the private guard companies operating in the state to ensure safe society,” he said.
