Ram Pothineni has got a worthy opponent!
According to the recent reports, Ravi Teja is looking forward to release his much awaited ‘Mr. Bachchan : Naam to Suna Hoga’ on the occasion of Independence Day. If true, this makes it a direct clash with Ram Pothineni’s much awaited ‘Double ISmart’.
‘Double ISmart’ is Ram Pothineni’s much awaited action drama, which would be directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie also stars Kavya Thapar and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. ‘Double ISmart’ is also Sanjay Dutt’s debut in Tollywood after he made successful debuts in Sandalwood and Kollywood with ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and ‘LEO’ respectively.
On the other hand, ‘Mr. Bachchan’ is the Telugu remake of the 2018 Hindi movie ‘Raid’, which itself was based on one of the longest income tax raids in India that took place in 1981. The movie was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, and had an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Amit Sial, Saurabh Shukla, Ileana D’ Cruz, Saanand Verma, Sheeba Chaddha etc.
While Ravi Teja would be reprising the role of Ajay Devgn, Bhagyashree Borse would be playing his love interest. Jagapathi Babu would be playing the role of the main antagonist. Harish Shankar would be writing as well as directing this movie
