Ahead of the his coronation, the Olubadan designate Owolabi Olakulehin has expressed his readiness to rule his people, bringing remarkable developments to the ancient city and the traditional institution of Oyo state.

The king made this known when he spoke extensively with TVC at his palace in Ibadan.

All is set for the official coronation of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde recently approved the ceremony to be held on the 12 of July.

The residence of the monarch is already receiving dignitaries ahead  of the occasion as the king has revealed that he is set take over the traditional affairs of the historical city.

The King also cleared air on the speculations that some members are not in good terms with him.

With the Governor’s approval and the King’s assurance of unity among his subjects, the ceremony will mark a new chapter in the rich history of Ibadan.
