Tribeville Festival made a triumphant return to The Lawn at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas, on Friday, July 5, 2024, for its second annual edition. The festival, headlined by Afrobeats superstar Davido and organized by the renowned Duke Concept, celebrated Black music from around the globe, uniting fans under one vibrant tribe.

This year's Tribeville lineup was a stellar showcase of talent, featuring Nigerian heavyweights Wande Coal and Young Jonn, Grenadian sensation V’ghn, Trinidadian soca artist Preedy, and Nigerian singer-songwriter Chike. The festival also welcomed Afrorap artist Bils, Alté group The Compozers, and South African rapper Focalistic. DJ sets by Skyla Tylaa, Babygirl The DJ, DJ Mobu, DJ Obi, DJ Big N, and many others kept the energy high throughout the event.

Davido, known for his electrifying stage presence and a string of global hits, stole the night with a performance that had the crowd roaring. Young Jonn and Wande Coal also delivered unforgettable performances, each bringing their unique style and energy to the stage. The festival's diverse lineup ensured a dynamic mix of sounds, celebrating the richness of African and Caribbean music.

Following its debut in April 2023, which included performances by Adekunle Gold, Oxlade, Victony, Libianca, and more, Tribeville returned with even greater momentum. This year's festival continued Duke Concept's mission to bring the dynamic sounds of Africa and the Caribbean to audiences in the U.S. and beyond, building on the success of their all-Ghanaian music festival Rolling Cocoa in Washington, D.C., and Davido's headline show at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

The festival was not just a concert but a cultural experience, with fans coming together to celebrate their shared love for music and culture. As Tribeville continues to grow, it remains a beacon of unity and celebration for Black music worldwide.
