Lauryn Goodman has replied to messages from fans after her children showed their support to England footballer dad Kyle Walker.
The influencer, 33, celebrated the Three Lions’ win on Saturday alongside her kids as they watched the quarter-finals from home. Their children donned England shirts with ‘Daddy’ on the back as they saw Gareth Southgate’s team win 5-3 on penalties in the third quarterfinal of the Euro 2024.
After the match, Lauryn decided to respond to messages from her fans. One follower had responded to a post from Lauryn that showed her breastfeeding her youngest. The fan told her: “I love that ur breastfeeding. Thank you for showing this on your stories. It truly takes so much as a mother and it just shows how strong your bond is with the kids!
“I just finished 3 years of breastfeeding.” Lauryn took a screenshot of the message as she decided to show her reply to all her followers. She wrote: “Ahh well done! That’s amazing. I love it our lickle bond… also just realised guys when I said the other day my DMs weren’t working, they were switched off. Back up now!”
Just before England’s game on Saturday, Lauryn showed her support as she shared: “Come on England. [lion emoji] Always Supporting [lion emoji]. *Last slide sums up the entire nation right now.” Her son Kairo and daughter – who were both wearing ‘Daddy’ shirts – were watching the screen with intense interest.
The last photo showed Kyle – who is married to Annie Kilner – and Lauryn’s daughter with her head on the couch as she hid away from the TV screen. Lauryn received questions from fans following the post as one asked: “But he doesn’t deserve to be called daddy when he doesn’t acknowledge them?!”
She responded: “Not saying he does. But I’m not going to change what the kids know to please others. They’ve had enough changes for now.” Another fan questioned: “Does he not have anything to do with them though?” Lauryn said: “No because Kairo was used to the long distance etc it’s just normal for him.”
However, many left supportive messages to the star, with one user writing: “Praise to you on being an amazing mummy to your beautiful [children] [blue heart emoji].” Another said: “Love the kids supporting their daddy, brilliant mam you are,” with Lauryn responding with a few heart emojis.
Kyle’s wife Annie Kilner, who has four children with the footballer, watched the game from the stands in Dusseldorf with their new baby attached to her chest in a sling. The footballer was outed as the father of Lauryn’s second child this year with Lauryn going on to publicly slam the Manchester City star. Annie had announced she was taking a break from her marriage, before giving birth to their fourth child together.
At the start of England’s Euros campaign, Lauryn took her son Kairo to watch England while Annie was also in the stands with her kids. Lauryn later explained why she made the move as she told fans: “@kairowalker honestly had the best day. That’s all that matters,” before adding in a further response: “As long as my children are happy that’s all that matters. He woke up this morning going, ‘Mummy can we go again?'”
