Pop superstar Madonna has recalled her shocking near death experience in a poignant social media post celebrating Independence Day in the United States.

Madonna, 65, was found unresponsive last June while training for her then-upcoming Celebration Tour and was rushed to a New York hospital where she was intubated in the Intensive Care Unit.

The singer was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection but made a “miraculous” recovery and resumed her tour in October 2023.

"Happy 4th of July!" the Queen of Pop wrote to her 20 million Instagram followers on Thursday alongside a carousel of racy snaps of the singer with a mystery man.

"I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year.

"Thank you God. Life is beautiful!"

Page Six reported that the “Hung Up” songstress’ collapse came amid “strenuously rehearsing” and “putting in 12-hour days” for the Celebration Tour, which was postponed during her recovery.

It was later revealed that the seven-time Grammy winner was revived on the scene using Narcan, a medication typically used to reverse opioid overdoses, but the singer’s collapse was understood to not be drug-related.

At the time, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Madonna was leaning on her six children: Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11 amid her recovery.

The singer later adopted Mercy, Stella and Estere from Malawi as a single parent.

Madonna’s rescheduled Celebration Tour kicked off in London in October 2023 and travelled across the globe before wrapping up two months ago in Rio De Janeiro.

The shows grossed about $225 million USD and became one of the year’s highest-grossing concert tours.

Despite Celebration’s commercial success, the singer and her tour promoter are now the subject of multiple lawsuits from disgruntled fans suing Madonna for starting the concerts hours after their advertised start time.

In one suit, filed against Barclays Center and Live Nation for the New York City show, the singer was accused of "false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive trade practices."

The angry concertgoers also allege that the late start time made it difficult for Madonna’s fans to "get up early to go to work" the following day.

Two other suits were subsequently also filed against Madonna for her legendary tardiness, one from an attendee of a show in Washington D.C., and another from an attendee in Los Angeles.
