Senator Dankwambo Empowers 440 Youth, Women In Gombe

In a remarkable display of commitment to the development of his constituency, Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, representing Gombe north in Gombe State has trained and empowered 440 youth and women in various vocational skills.

The empowerment program, which is part of Senator Dankwambo’s efforts to improve the lives of his constituents, provided training in tailoring and phone repair, among other skills.

DAYLIGHT REPORTERS reports that each beneficiary received a certificate of completion and a starter pack to support their new found skills.

Senator Dankwambo, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Drugs and Narcotics, urged the beneficiaries to use their new found skills to establish their own businesses and support their communities.

He also announced plans to provide free tractors and agricultural equipment to farmers in the senatorial zone, as well as motorcycles to extension workers to enhance their services.

He said the empowerment programme aims to contribute to the growth and development of Gombe north and its people.
