Chaotic scenes have been pictured at Heathrow Airport, with passengers claiming they've been "evacuated" from one of its terminals. The London airport is reportedly "ushering" people out of its Terminal 2 building.

Confused travellers took to X to document the disruption, with one person adding: "UKLabour have been in charge for 5 mins and the country has ground to a halt."

Unconfirmed reports suggest a suspicious package has been identified. Another said: "Can some one tell us what is happening at terminal 2 please?"

According to live departure information boards, gates at terminal 2 remain open for pending flights - with no known disruption to inbound and outbound flights as yet.

Terminal 2 at Heathrow is known as the Queen’s Terminal and is the main British Airways hub.
