While the former President and flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, and his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, are gearing up for a fierce political battle, supporters of the party are confident that their return to power will bring renewed hope and development to the country.

In an interview with the former NDC women’s organizer of the Upper East Region, Hajia Charity Aseoma, on A1 Radio, she emphasized Former President Mahama’s legacy of developmental projects and his pledge to complete unfinished initiatives, including schools, roads, health facilities, and many more.

Hajia Aseoma shared the belief that the guidance that would be offered under the former president’s leadership will alleviate the hardships faced by many Ghanaians.

She continued to say that the current government had failed to deliver on their promises after winning the trust of citizens.

Issues such as high exchange rates, daily fuel price increments, and many more were cited.

She explained that the double-track system is not helping students, hence the need to vote John Mahama back into power to provide quality education.

Hajia Aseoma also encourages all women to support the party’s running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, to help in the change of government and bring about development.

Their campaign promises to bring a stark contrast to the current administration, with a focus on tackling economic challenges and implementing policies that benefit all Ghanaians.
