Kogi Assembly passes 2024 budget of N58.8bn

The Kogi State House of Assembly on Friday passed the 2024 supplementary budget of N58.8 billion.

This followed the clause-by-clause consideration of Governor Usman Ododo’s request by the Committee of the Whole during the plenary in Lokoja.

The governor had in a letter to the House said the supplementary budget was required for project execution in the state

In his remark, the Speaker of the Assembly, Umar Yusuf, said the approval of the supplementary budget would enable the government to fund the newly created agencies in the state.
