"Arkansas Collaborative for Technological and Innovative Venture Equality (ACTIVE) Program Launched
A new initiative known as the Arkansas Collaborative for Technological and Innovative Venture Equality (ACTIVE) program has been launched, with twenty-five healthcare and health tech companies from Arkansas taking part. This program, a collaboration between BioVentures LLC and The Venture Center, is aimed at improving health outcomes across the state.

Founding Companies in the ACTIVE Cohort
The inaugural ACTIVE cohort includes various companies such as U Got Wheelz App, Aurum Endeavors LLC, RMP Health Solution, and many others. These companies represent a diverse range of innovative health tech solutions that aim to make a positive impact in healthcare.
Comprehensive Skill Training Boot Camp
The Venture Center is set to kick off a comprehensive skill training boot camp for the companies participating in the ACTIVE program. The training will cover essential areas such as branding, certifications, cybersecurity, telehealth, and legal considerations to equip healthcare innovators with the necessary tools to succeed in the industry.
Partnerships and Funding
Funding for the ACTIVE program is provided by the Minority Business Development Agency's Capital Readiness Program and is backed by partnerships with institutions like the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Philander Smith College.
