The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), has been announced as the best agency of government in exemplary teamwork, quality service de­livery and consistency.

This award was announced by the special adviser to Presi­dent Bola Tinubu on Presiden­tial Enabling Business Envi­ronment Council (PEBEC), Dr Jumoke Oduwole.

Oduwole also announced the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy as the over­all Best performing Ministry in the country.

Dr. Oduwole announced that 33 operational activities of NIMASA were subjected to thorough scrutiny alongside those of 36 other Agencies of the Federal Government.

“We want to commend NI­MASA for emerging as the best Nigeria’s Agency of Govern­ment in exemplary teamwork, quality service delivery and consistency.

“PEBEC also wishes to com­mend the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboye­ga Oyetola for his commitment to ensuring that all the Agen­cies under the Ministry im­prove their service delivery in a consistent manner “ she said.

Reacting to the award, Di­rector General of NIMASA Dr Dayo Mobereola in a post on his official X handle @Mobere­olaD, dedicated the award to all members of Staff of NIMASA and acknowledged the support of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy in providing the right framework for the Agency to create an enabling environment for local and for­eign investors in the Nigerian maritime space.
