Grammy awards nominee and Nigeria superstar, David Adeleke, AKA Davido, has lamented that the money he and his wife, Chioma, took home didn’t match with the amount sprayed at their wedding ceremony which was held last week in Lagos State.

It will be recalled that dignitaries from all around the world stormed Davido’s lavish wedding on June 25, 2024, with many spraying dollar bills due to Nigeria’s Naira mutilation laws.

Commenting under a video posted by blogger and former musician Tunde Ednut of guests spraying him money during his wedding, Davido stated that the money sprayed at his wedding didn’t tally with the amount he and his wife took home.

He wrote, “The video of all the money wey dey spray (that was sprayed) and wetin we carry go house (what we took home) no dey tally.”

This statement has left many wondering what could have happened to the money sprayed on the self acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo.
