Graduands Of NOCEN inducted Into TRCN

Over one thousand and ninety-six graduands of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe have been Inducted into the professional body of Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN.

The ninth Induction ceremony held at the college Auditorium, marking another significant milestone in their academic journey, was graced by academics as well as the college community.

The Registrar, Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria, Professor Josiah Ajiboye, while administering the oat taking, explained that the establishment of the regulatory body was to regulate the conduct of teaching and promote professionalism.

Highlighting the pivotal role of teachers as architects in transforming the society, Professor Ajiboye implored them to embrace technological innovations and adapt to changing demands of evolving world.

Earlier in a remark, the College Provost, Dr Justina Anyadiegwu among others stressed the essence of utilization of technologies as sustainable facility in blazing the trail and expansion of knowledge horizons.

Represented by the Director College Consultancy, Dr Ndu Azubuike Dr. Anyadiegwu added that education remains critical in human development, asking the inductees to scale up professional standard.

In a speech, the TRCN Co-ordinator, Dr, Uche Achebe, encouraged them to aspire as role models and good ambassadors of the school, even as she appreciated all for the successful outing.

Esther Muoto and Dennis Ogwo, who were among the inductees, pledged to contribute their quota, in uplifting humanity and nation building.

The event featured oath-taking and symbolic presentation of certificates by the Registrar.
