The Best Booking Codes For EPL Matchday 34

bet9ja.com 2024/5/3

The English Premier League keeps marching on towards its close this weekend as matchday 34 is set to take place.

Due to the FA Cup semi-finals also taking place across this weekend, the Premier League will host only seven games. Current leaders Manchester City will be playing Chelsea in the cup, leaving Arsenal and Liverpool the chance to move top and put pressure on City for their game in hand.

All eyes are likely to be focused on the relegation battle this weekend though, as four of the bottom five in the league come face to face. With these games coming so late in the season, a victory could be the difference between staying in the division or being relegated.

With this, drama and tension are sure to follow. Read on as we pick out our top tips and booking codes for the upcoming fixtures:

Sheffield United vs Burnley

This match-up sees 20th placed Sheffield United host 19th placed Burnley at Bramall Lane in a hugely important game for both sides.

While Sheffield United are currently 10 points from safety, a victory would pull them closer and give them the slight bit of hope that they may need to earn their place in the division next season. As for Burnley, a victory for them could take them to within three points of safety, while a loss would be hugely detrimental.

Sheffield United come into the game having drawn three of their last five, some of the best form they have produced this season. Burnley are also in a good vein of form for their standards this season, losing just one of their last six games but also winning just one.

Despite so many draws for Vincent Kompany’s men, these results will certainly give them the confidence they need to take a victory from this game. We expect them to do just that and take all three points from this one.

Burnley to win, 2.48

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal

Arsenal come into this game having lost both of their last two games across all competitions, a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa which has seen their title hopes diminish before being beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich as they were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League.

Wolves have also struggled recently, never able to return to form after their 3-2 loss to Coventry City in the FA Cup. That defeat was the beginning of a run of five games without a win, losing three and drawing twice.

Due to their two defeats, and with Man City not playing this weekend, Arsenal will see this game as a chance to start righting their wrongs. With Wolves also in poor form, we believe that Arsenal will prove too much for them and come away with the win.

Arsenal to win, 1.40

Everton vs Nottingham Forest

One of the most intriguing battles in this season’s Premier League calendar sees Everton host Nottingham Forest in a game between the two sides to have been dealt point deductions throughout this year.

Everton’s eight-point deduction and Forest’s four have seen the two sides involved in a relegation battle for large parts of the season, with Forest just a point above 18th placed Luton Town and Everton only two better off.

This game will serve as a huge opportunity for one of these sides to take a big step forward towards safety, picking up three points and denying a fellow relegation candidate any points in the process.

Forest come into this game having won one and drawn three of their last five games, while Everton have drawn, won and lost in their last three, including a massive 6-0 defeat in their previous outing.

Despite this, Forest’s away form has been extremely poor this season, picking up just 10 points on the road, and we expect Goodison Park to be in full voice with such high stakes in this game. Because of this, we believe the crowd will help play a part in pushing Everton over the line and picking up a crucial three points.
