Otobo Nsukka seeks wisdom of new chairman of traditional rulers to move Enugu monarchs forward

In the face of growing leadership tussle in many communities in the south East zone, the Nsukka sociocultural organisation, Otobo Nsukka Cultural Zone Developmental Initiative, Enugu state has advised the new chairman of Enugu state traditional rulers’ council to exhibit wisdom, maturity and wealth of knowledge in discharge of his duty.

In a press release on Sunday by the Head of Administration of the Organization, Chief Chineme Agu, and made available to our reporter, extolled the virtues of the new chairman of the council HRM Igwe Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu.

HRM Igwe Asadu: New chairman of Enugu traditional rulers’ council

Igwe Asadu is the Ogadagidi of Edemani Ogwugwu Ancient Kingdom and was appointed the chairman of the Traditional rulers council by the state government.

However, the press release partly reads thus; “Congratulations to HRM, Igwe Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu, Ogadagidi of Edemani Ogwugwu Ancient Kingdom on your well-deserved inauguration as the Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council Chairman!

“We are thrilled to see your leadership and wisdom guiding the traditional rulers council. Your dedication to the community and passion for progress are truly inspiring.

“We also extend our gratitude to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, for recognizing the qualities of a leader in Igwe Asadu and entrusting him with this esteemed position. Your Excellency, we appreciate your vision and commitment to the progress of Enugu State.

“You are aware of the growing incident of power tussle in many communities in this state. We urge you to use your good office to unite the traditional rulers in this state.

” We in Otobo Nsukka, as sociocultural organisation in this state with overwhelming support from the traditional rulers in the state will work hand in hand with your council towards  making sure that your tenure experiences harmony, peace and tranquility with a view to taking the state to an enviable height.
