Vacuum created by Ajimobi’s demise difficult to fill – Adelabu
The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu Tuesday said the vacuum created by the former governor of Oyo State and Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), late Senator Abiola Ajimobi is still difficult to fill.
Chief Adelabu stated this while speaking in Ibadan as family, friends and political associates holds a 4th year fidau prayer for the repose of the soul of the former governor.
He stated that the late former governor made a significant impact in governance of Oyo state through many innovations and ideas while alive.
He declared that the late former governor can best be described as the architect of modern Oyo state as he left the office with outstanding legacies and great achievements.
Celebrating the worthy life of the former governor, the minister condoled with the entire Ajimobi family, especially his darling wife, Dr Florence Ajimobi and the children, adding that Senator Ajimobi lived an impactful life.
The minister said the APC family and Nigeria still remember the former governor for his lofty contributions to the party and the development of Oyo state through his promotion of good governance.
“I pray the Almighty Allah continues to increase his mercy on Senator Ajimobi and forgive his shortcomings,” he said.
