Trailing closely behind is the Yoruba epic film Beast of Two Worlds (Ajakaju), which dazzled audiences with its grandeur and storytelling prowess. Although it experienced a slight dip in earnings, from ₦101.2 million in its debut weekend to ₦34.2 million for the specified week, the film has still managed to amass a formidable total of ₦217.2 million.

Further down the roster, Saving Onome, helmed by director Dimeji Ajibola, tugs at heartstrings with its poignant tale of parental love and sacrifice. Garnering ₦8.9 million in the preceding week, the film’s narrative struck a chord with audiences, earning it a respectable position on the box office rankings.

In addition to these standout films, CEAN’s report highlights the diverse array of Nollywood productions captivating audiences across the nation. From the romantic comedy All is Fair in Love, which accrued ₦26,000, to the heartfelt drama Meeting Funmi’s Parents, which garnered ₦86,000, Nollywood continues to showcase its versatility and appeal on the big screen.
