Hisar School Bus Accident: A school bus carrying 40 children crashed into several vehicles in Haryana's Hisar district this morning. The bus, belonging to the Delhi Public School, was reportedly speeding on National Highway 9 when the accident occurred during heavy rainfall.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver was unable to control the vehicle, which resulted in the bus ramming into a motorcycle, a hatchback car and a moving truck. The impact of the crash was severe, with the hatchback car being pushed under the truck.

Fortunately, the occupants of the hatchback, two women, managed to escape unharmed, due to the slow pace of the truck. Additionally, the children on the bus were also found uninjured, however, the rider of the motorcycle was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Local police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, with conflicting reports suggesting either a brake failure or the driver being under the influence of alcohol.

In a similar incident that occurred in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, a school bus with around 70 students on board had a close call after the vehicle veered off the road and almost plunged into the Indrayani River. Quick-thinking locals, however, rushed to the rescue and safely evacuated the students from the bus, which had landed on the bridge's iron railing.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad police stated that a major accident was averted due to the timely intervention of the local residents, who broke the bus windows and helped the students to safety. The bus was later removed from the site with the help of a crane and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident.
