Controversial singer Portable has called out a certain Sony Music artist over the ‘bad advice’ he gave him in the US, days after he met with Davido. It would be recalled that two Nigerian musicians had linked up in Atlanta US, where they dined together.
In a video that surfaced online, Portable can be seen ranting over the sort of advice he received. According to him, he was advised to join the Empire Music group by someone in Sony Music, which he considers to be bigger. He expressed dissatisfaction with the advice, wondering why he wasn’t told to join Sony because that would increase his global recognition. Portable emphasized that the sort of music connection he wants is the sort that will increase him from zero to 100. It would be recalled that Davido signed a deal with Sony Music in 2016 and renewed it in 2023.
