Fancy working at St James's Park? There are a range of jobs up for grabs for anyone eager to be part of things at Newcastle United next season.

Could you be the team's next new signing? You wouldn't be running out on the hallowed turf, but you could be pulling a perfect pint or serving up top quality food to fans on a matchday or attendees at other events.

The jobs are with Sodexo which staffs St James' Park - and roles range from executive managers to kitchen assistants. For 16 to 17-year-olds, pay starts at £9 an hour, while for over-18s it is from £12 an hour. There are enhancements for management and specialist roles.

  • In its advertisements, Sodexo bosses said: "This is an incredible opportunity to join our team at Sodexo Live! St James’ Park, Newcastle United Football Club for season 2024/25. Following on from our biggest season yet, we are looking to start the new upcoming season where we left off.

    "With the opportunity to work at both Matchday and Non-Matchday Events, this is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative catering environment."

    You must have the suitable "Right to Work" documents, the firm said, and these would be checked before interview. The full list of roles is below:

    Executive Room Manager; Executive Bar Supervisor; Stand Manager; Team Leader; Cook/Kitchen Assistant; Cellar and Porter Staff; Bar Staff; Front of House Staff; Chef; Kitchen Porter.
