Juventus Consider Shock Swoop for Roma Forward

Juventus are contemplating a mind-boggling move for outgoing Roma striker Tammy Abraham to strengthen their frontline. According to TuttoJuve, the Bianconeri could make a shock swoop for the English marksman amid Thiago Motta’s effort to revamp his attacking options.

Moise Kean is on the brink of swapping Juventus for Fiorentina. In addition to the Italian, Poland international Arkadiusz Milik could soon wave goodbye to Turin. That would leave Motta with Dusan Vlahovic as the only out-and-out striker, increasing the need for a new center-forward.

It’s been a busy start to the summer for Juventus. They’ve already acquired the likes of Douglas Luiz and Michele Di Gregorio. Khephren Thuram is close to joining the club, with the record-time Serie A champions still keeping close tabs on Atalanta talisman Teun Koopmeiners.

But reinforcements will likely be required up front if Milik departs Juventus in the coming weeks. Abraham could be a cost-effective solution, considering Roma are ready to cash in on the former Chelsea star. He returned to the fold toward the end of last season from a long-term injury, but Daniele De Rossi is unimpressed with the 26-year-old.

Abraham will probably exit the capital this summer. After Milan refused Roma’s attempt to send the tall striker to San Siro, Juventus could help them offload their wantaway ace. But whether it’d be a good deal for the Allianz outfit remains questionable.

It’s unclear whether Juventus would go to great lengths to sign Abraham. They’d only move for him on favorable terms.
