Samsung to launch Galaxy M35 5G with Exynos 1380 and 6,000mAh battery on July 17
Samsung recently announced that it will be launching the Galaxy M35 in India on July 17 and confirmed several specs like processor, display, camera and other things. The new M-series device will pack the company’s in-house developed Exynos 1380 chipset, which also powered last year’s Galaxy A54.
Featuring a 6.6-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, the display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. Instead of an in-display fingerprint, Samsung seems to have integrated the fingerprint sensor with the power button.
On the back, you get a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor alongside a 13MP selfie shooter. The phone also comes with Nightography which enhances photos taken in low light and the Astrolapse feature which allows users to capture time-lapse videos of the night sky.
The device will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM with up to 256GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using the microSD card slot. It has a hybrid SIM slot that supports either two nano-SIMS or one SIM card and microSD card. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging. Similar to other M-series devices, the Galaxy M35 packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W charging.
Samsung said the Galaxy M35 also includes Tap to Pay functionality and a hardware Knox chip for additional security. It will be available on Amazon, but the company has yet to reveal the price of the phone.
