Moline theater to re-open as VIP Moline 14 next week

Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a scathing dissent to the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling on Monday, writing that U.S. presidents will now be able to assassinate political rivals and accept bribes with impunity while they’re in office.
Movies are back in Moline next Thursday.
VIP Moline 14 will welcome guests back in on Thursday, July 11. Limited information is available on the company website. Google Maps marks it's location as 4101 38th St. in Moline.
Showtimes and titles are currently not listed, but will be added at a later date, according to the company website. A family-owned company, VIP operates multiple theaters across the United States including an additional six in Illinois.
Known locally as the Regal Cinema, the theater closed last July after the parent company, Cineworld, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Employees at the time would not say if the closure and bankruptcy were related.
