New Footage of M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap Showcases a Thrilling Concert Experience
Warner Bros. has released new footage for M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming thriller Trap, and it promises an evening of gripping suspense.
The film stars Josh Hartnett as a father taking his teen daughter to a pop concert, only to find themselves at the heart of a dark event. The concert is, in fact, a trap set to catch a serial killer known as The Butcher.
As the plot unfolds, we see what happens when Hartnett’s character realizes the cops have him cornered. According to the preview, he begins to cause chaos within the venue. The tension rises intensely as The Butcher feels out of control and takes drastic measures.
M. Night Shyamalan discussed this movie at CinemaCon, sharing that he developed the story over several years in collaboration with his pianist daughter Saleka Shyamalan to weave a narrative deeply connected to music.
