Northeast Ohio Wednesday weather forecast: Storms return
CLEVELAND, Ohio - While Wednesday will start out sunny, rain and thunderstorms are set to return in the early afternoon.
The National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow calls for highs to reach the upper 80s with winds blowing around 15 mph before calming a bit later in the evening. Overnight lows will only drop to about 70 degrees as storms could persist.
The NWS warns some areas could see localized flooding from torrential downpours Wednesday afternoon and beyond with frequent lightning and the chance for damaging winds as well. Storm chances drop significantly on Independence Day, but some areas could still see more rain as highs top out in the lower 80s.

Extended forecast for Northeast Ohio
Thursday night will see lows drop back into the mid 60s with a slight chance of additional rain. Storm chances increase a bit on Friday as highs are again in the mid 80s.
