On the heels of Independence Day weekend, Adirondack Independence Music Festival has revealed its 2024 lineup topped by returning headliner moe. and newcomers Melvin Seals & JGB. Nearly 20 acts will take over Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George, NY over Labor Day weekend from Friday, August 30th through Sunday, September 1st.

Once again, moe. will perform four sets across two nights—the band’s fourth consecutive year leading the lineup—while Jerry Garcia collaborator Melvin Seals and his latter-day JGB lineup featuring Dark Star Orchestra co-founder John Kadlecik will perform two sets on the same evening. Also set to perform at Adirondack Independence Music Festival are seminal jamgrass outfit Yonder Mountain String Band, Twiddle frontman Mihali with his live solo band, Sublime tribute Badfish, fusion tribute Pink Talking Fish, deep funk jam-band Spafford, progtronic trio lespecial, rising guitarist Daniel Donato’s Cosmic CountryMoon HoochRAQCool Cool Cool, and more. The remainder of the lineup is filled out by Lucid, Wild Adriatic, Hayley Jane Band, Bella’s Bartok, Yam Yam, Kendal Street Company, Strange Machines, The Frank White Experience: A Live Tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., Crooked Coast, and One Time Weekend.

Festival attendees will enjoy continuous music on two adjacent stages from 1 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday until 11 p.m. On Saturday night, the Lake George Labor Day fireworks will cap off the day of music, local food, and craft vendors.
