The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has rescheduled its 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, for 24,535 candidates.
JAMB rescheduled the UTME due to the
substantial non-compliance with its standards in the centres of the affected candidates.
The board also directed affected candidates to print their supplementary Examination Notification Slips from Tuesday, 4th June, 2024, to ascertain their designated examination centres.
In a statement he signed on Sunday, JAMB’s spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said the Board has also released additional 3,921 withheld results.
The statement reads in part: “The Board has painstakingly analysed the process and conduct of the 2024 UTME in some centres where there are strong proofs of substantial non-compliance with the Board’s standards.
”Consequently, 24,535 candidates have been rescheduled to retake the examination in their chosen Examination Towns on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
To ensure timely preparations for re- scheduled JAMB exams, it is essential that candidates print their notification slips no later than June 21st, 2024.
In addition, the release of the 2024 UTME results is crucial for candidates seeking tertiary education in Nigeria.
To check their JAMB results, candidates can send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used for registration.
Those under JAMB rescheduled categories must print their slips within the specified dates above to know the exam’s time and venue.
The supplementary JAMB exam reschedule will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

- Ink/pen readers and similar devices: These devices could be used to read information that is hidden on the exam paper.
- Earpieces: These devices could be used to receive information from someone outside the exam hall.
- Large bags: Only small, clear bags are permitted in the exam hall. This is to prevent candidates from bringing in any prohibited items.
