Fresh out of the slammer but far from free, Amanda Waller’s band of misfits are set to face a new reality in Suicide Squad Isekai episode 5.

No longer confined by prison walls, the criminal crew is starting to get their bearings in this strange land of magic and monsters.

But with freedom comes responsibility, and the Squad’s adventures are just getting started as they delve deeper into the fantastical kingdom they’ve been thrown into.

Things don’t start well for the Squad in episode 4. Despite successfully destroying a stronghold, a mission gone wrong lands them back in prison. To top it off, their target, Ratcatcher, escapes.

But a twist of fate offers an unexpected opportunity. It turns out that Ratcatcher harbors a grudge against Deadshot from their previous imprisonment.

Seeking revenge, Ratcatcher uses his magic to control a werewolf army and attacks Queen Aldora’s weakened kingdom.

Desperate, the Queen reluctantly releases the Suicide Squad and tasks them with leading the charge against Ratcatcher’s forces. Harley proposes a shocking strategy to turn the enemy against itself, a trick she learned from the Joker.

With this idea in mind, Harley convinces the Queen to release imprisoned Orcs and have them fight alongside them against the werewolves. 

As the two armies face off, Ratcatcher prepares to unleash his magic on the werewolves. However, before the battle commences, Deadshot takes a surprise shot, not at the werewolves, but at Ratcatcher’s magic control wand, effectively disabling the entire werewolf army.

This decisive action earns the Squad the Queen’s gratitude and, more importantly, their freedom. The episode ends with them returning to their transport ship, finally deactivating the ever-present threat of their explosive collars.
