The new Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area, Mr Fidelis Nnazor has promised to align his administration with the vision of the state Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking shortly after his inauguration, Mr. Nnazor thanked God for making the event a successful one and promised to uphold the values of transparency, accountability and good governance.

Mr. Nnazor highlighted his plans to prioritize the needs of Ndi Anambra West, and expressed commitment to key into the vision of the state Governor, pledging to work diligently towards the development and progress of Anambra West Local Government Area.

He disclosed that his administration would run an all-inclusive Government in line with the mantra of “Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya” of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, to ensure that Anambra West was not left out in the transformative agenda of the state government.

The new Anambra West Mayor who thanked Governor Soludo for finding him worthy to serve for him to contribute his quota towards the development of the Local Council, appealed for unalloyed support from Ndi Anambra West to succeed in the onerous task.

Mr. Nnazor further assured Anambra West APGA members of cordial working relationship to increase the party’s numerical strength in the council to ensure that Governor Soludo is re-elected in the next governorship election for him to continue his good works.

Mr Nnazor’s inauguration was attended by government officials, traditional rulers, party Stakeholders, community leaders and residents of Anambra West, who expressed optimism on the new administration and its potential to bring positive change to the local council.
