Technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping the landscape of business, offering tremendous benefits to those who embrace them. However, these innovations also come with potential risks of widening the societal gap. The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) is gearing up for the much-anticipated 2024 CSR Expo, scheduled to take place on July 3 and 4 at Dusit Thani Manila and on July 4 and 5 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

Unleashing the Power of Technology
This year's theme, 'Reimagining a New and Inclusive Future,' will bring together industry leaders, experts, and representatives to explore how technology can enhance Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. From AI's transformative role to innovative breakthroughs across various sectors including health, education, and disaster resilience, attendees can expect insightful discussions on leveraging technology for social good.

A Prominent Lineup of Speakers
The 2024 CSR Expo will feature speakers from diverse fields such as Dr. David R. Hardoon, CEO of Aboitiz Data Innovation, and Sherlo Reyes, Director for the Center for Partnership & Development, among others. The event aims to foster dynamic conversations and collaborations among the 200 delegates and industry frontrunners.

Recognizing Excellence in CSR
In line with National CSR Week, LCF will honor outstanding CSR initiatives through the 2024 Guild Awards at Dusit Thani Manila. Additionally, the inaugural CSR Medal of Recognition will acknowledge non-members for their contributions to community development. The event is set to take place at Glorietta, showcasing technology-driven CSR projects for public engagement.

Empowering Through Technology
The Expo will also introduce LIFE, an initiative by the League of Corporate Foundations dedicated to food security, nutrition, and empowerment. By addressing pressing issues like malnutrition and stunting, LIFE aims to collaborate with government agencies and like-minded organizations to drive positive change.

Leading the Way in CSR
Founded in 1991, LCF remains committed to advancing CSR practices within the business community in the Philippines. With a network of corporate and family foundations, the League continues to champion social responsibility and sustainability.
