Manchester United were heavily linked with bringing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to Old Trafford this summer.

The French forward was impressive last season. Despite suffering a couple of unfortunate injuries, Olise still managed to make 19 appearances for the Eagles scoring ten goals and bagging six assists in the process.

Such form unsurprisingly caught the eye of other Premier League clubs with United treated as a likely destination for the winger. It is understood Olise grew up supporting the Reds and the opportunity to represent the club was thought to be enticing.

However, it later emerged that Chelsea were keen to keep him in the capital having activated his release clause last summer. Olise had turned them down in a surprising U-turn but looked all set to be heading to Stamford Bridge until Friday night.

News emerged that Chelsea had withdrawn from the process due to concerns about the costs involved in the deal while United had chosen not to make their interest formal. Instead, Bayern Munich had won the race to sign the forward and it is believed a fee has been agreed and the deal should be made permanent soon.

While United's interest in the winger appeared to cool in the later stages of the saga, the Reds could still be eager to add a winger to their squad. Antony has not lived up to expectations since being bought by Ten Hag and there is room for a right-sided attacker to enter the team potentially.

With this in mind, FairBettingSites has asked AI technology ChatGPT to predict five targets United could now chase to replace their interest in Olise. Take a look at the picks below and let us know what you think.

Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich celebrates after scoring
With Olise seemingly heading to Bavaria, Coman's future now looks to be in doubt. The 28-year-old's season was injury-ravaged and he still has three years remaining on his contract in Munich. But, as a potential back-up option the Frenchman could be an option for United.1 of 5

The former Leeds United man has been linked with a move to Old Trafford previously and it is no surprise to see AI mentioning his name here. His time in Catalonia has been mixed but ten goals and 13 assists last season is a much better haul than Coman so he is certainly an option to consider especially if Barcelona need to sell.2 of 5
Ousmane Dembele of Paris Saint-Germain
Dembele was linked with a switch to United before he moved to PSG. Six goals and 14 assists in 42 appearances is fine but doesn't set the world alight. With Kylian Mbappe leaving this summer, it would be difficult to imagine them allowing another star player to leave.3 of 5
Federico Chiesa
Like Dembele, Chiesa has been linked with United for a while now too. Most recently, the forward was named as a potential makeweight in the deal to take Mason Greenwood from Old Trafford to Turin. MEN Sport understands Juve retain an interest in Greenwood so there is no ruling out that Chiesa would not be used as part of the deal.4 of 5
Christian Pulisic of AC Milan looks on
On the face of it, bringing another ex-Chelsea player to Old Trafford may be unpopular but there could be method to the madness. Pulisic feels like he has been around for a while but he is still only 25. He has also just bagged 15 goals and 11 assists this season in Italy. Questions would remain as to whether the American would want to come back to the Premier League so soon after leaving.5 of 5
